Comments: I...wanted to let my family know that MAXWELL is on the cover of the June 99' issue of S2S..ALSO on pg# 86..the same pic is there...he's got on a T-shirt..and some rose colored shades...and he's hugging' Dabrat...she seems happy...LOL!!..The pic is really cute.....Also the pic looks like it's from Timberland's B-day party..which his B-day is the same as mine..HEHE...Also..on pg# 86..there is a lil info regarding him moving to Puerto Rico..supposely it's only part-time and after the tour is done...just so ya know..still no word on the TOUR...and I was told they are throwing MAX a party soon..for the success of "Fortunate"....I overheard someone in Sony..ordering cranberry juice for MAX...and no alcohol for him..only bubbly for the guest..I was like umm what party..LOL..nosey me....And also his B-day is a comin'..and I do plan on going to the B-Day party this year...I will post exactly where it will be...and watch them post after that fact over at his site..LOL..…

Comments: Well...I'll be!! Nothing like stirring up a little controversy with a few lines!! LOL! >;)~ I'm glad to see responces on such a sensitive topic. Me, I couldn't really care one way or another. I like men, "The Great One" didn't discriminate when he/she was passing out the "fine" to men, so I generally don't either. ROFLMAO!! I've never been in a relationship with anything other than balck men. I love them, they are my passion....BUT I do have a thing for latin men, that why Max was a done deal from the start. (disclamer: Maxwell, I really wouldn't try and molest you..when I first met you anyways! I'm a little old fashioned myself! hehehee!!)

Comments: There's a pic of Maxwell and his "current girlfriend" in the May, 1999 edition of Celebrity Style magazine, Cher is on the cover. Girlfriend certainly is beautiful and now I understand why he's singing that little adlib at the end of "Fortunate" so hard...."ain't noooo lady lady lady better than my girl". Oh yes Mr. M.....your baby is definitely a classy, sexy, beautiful young lady.

BORN AGAIN: Until now, Maxwell has not had a single in the top 25 of Hot R&B Singles & Tracks since "Sumthin' Sumthin'" (Columbia), one of the singles that established him as an artist, peaked at No. 23 back in February 1997. It's also the record that then WBLS New York PD Frankie Crocker made a station mainstay, playing it almost a year before anyone else.
In this issue Maxwell's "Fortunate" (Rock Land/Interscope/Columbia), a track formn the "Life" soundtrack, reaches that same rank (30-23). Th track is not available commercially but gains 4.8 million listeners, enough to land the Greatest Gainer/Airplay title. In Billboard's sister radio publication R&B Airplay Monitor, "Fortunate' garners the greatest spin increase, as well as the most new stations, leading to the Airpower award at NO. 15 the Adult R&B Airplay list.
